Manager Special — sell facility-owned items. You can now record a sale of abandoned goods, surplus equipment, or unclaimed auction inventory to a walk-in customer, right from the Shop — set the right tax on each item and, if you charge a cleaning deposit, refund it on its own. Decouple Gate Restriction and Overlock. Gate lockout and overlock are now fully independent settings. Operators can enable one without the other, or keep them on separate days, providing finer control over when and how access is restricted for delinquent tenants. A new “Gate access notice” automated message notifies tenants when their gate access is restricted. If gate lockout and overlock land on the same day, only the existing overlock notice goes out to avoid duplicate communications. Learn more
Pay by saved card on a call. Your voice AI agent can now charge a caller’s full current balance on their saved card during a phone call, so tenants with a card on file can pay without being transferred to the IVR or texted a link. Operators turn it on per org under the Payments voice skill. Learn more
Manager notification for new text. Managers can now get notified for a new incoming text message on their phone or email even when away from the Cubby platform. Learn more
Manager notification for missed call or voicemail. Cubby Calls clients can now enable manager notifications over email or text for missed calls and voicemails. Learn more
Improvements 🔨
Moved-out prepaid balances open straight in Move-Outs. The Home action area for moved-out tenants with remaining prepaid balances now opens the Move-Outs page already filtered to completed move-outs that still have a balance, with a new Prepaid column — so you land on a list you can act on right away.
Patty can reserve a unit. Your voice AI agent can now place a reservation over the phone, and respects the reservation settings you already have in place, so a unit is held only where reservations are enabled. Your agent confirms the reservation on the call and texts the caller a confirmation link.
A smoother Lien Management page. The Lien Management page now stays fast even with long lists, and you can filter, search, and sort it. Cancelled liens are tucked away by default and one click from the status filter.
Start lien processes from Collections. Leases eligible for lien now show up on the Collections page, where you can start the lien process alongside your other collections work — no more hunting across two pages for eligible leases.
