This article explains how to merge customers

How it works

Cubby continuously checks for unique customers, who share the same the phone number and name, or email address and name.

If there's a match between two or more customers in your Organization, whenever a User opens the customer's page, they'll see a banner prompting them to review and merge the potential duplicate profiles.

note: If you don't see the merge screen when you click "Review and merge" - reach out to your Organization's admin to provide you with the required permission or action on your behalf.


Once you click on the action button, you'll be presented with the Merge customers page, where you can review the duplicate profiles and select which profile to keep as Main.

Before proceeding: The associated customer details, ID documents and tenant information sticky note will be lost after merging.

Important: After completion, all rentals, leads, payment history, notes, events, and payment methods will be merged into the primary profile. The old duplicate will be deleted.



The profile on the right would indicate the new merged profile, however, if you'd like to use the other profile on the left as the primary, please click on the "Use as primary customer" in the "important" banner.

Once you've made your choice, proceed by clicking on the "Merge" button to complete the process.
