The Customer Page now includes the information that was previously found in two separate locations, the Rental and Tenant's pages. This is now combined into one Customer Page for easier navigation and less back and forth between the two.

The page contains all the separate sections that we've highlighted below.

  1. Header area
Includes a quick view of the Tenant's name, contact details as well as 4 status tabs that can appear based on conditions:

    a) Standing
    b) AutoPay status - active or inactive
    c) Insurance option selected
    d) Active military status, you'll see the badge if condition is met
    e) Action buttons to send a text or email, or Customer actions: from the Customer actions, you can either access the editor of the Tenant's details or start a new rental for them.

  2. Five navigation tabs that control your view.

    a) Overview is what you'd see by default, and it is where most of the Rental management occurs. If you've been with Cubby for a while, you'll recognize this as the "Rental" page, where you would go to manage a lease for a Tenant.
    - All the familiar items are here, such as the Lease information, Pay Balance, Rental details, Gate access, Documents, and Alternate contacts.
    - "Rental actions" button is replacing the "three dot menu" where you'd find the most commonly used actions related to a Tenant's Lease.
    - "Ledger" is where you'll see the lease's history, such as charged, payments, and waives.
    b) Customer details contains the information previously found in the "Tenant's page". From here, by clicking on the Pen icon, you are able to edit all their information, such as personal details, communication settings, and ID information.

    c) Payments - The payments tab shows all payment transactions that occurred for a Tenant, for all their rentals. Previously, this was found in the "Tenant's profile page". Here is where you'd track what payments they've made, find out the source of it, Refund or Mark it as failed. Same as before, but without the need to leave the page.

    d) Activity - This tab is replacing the previously called Notes & Events that used to be in the same spot. The new Activity view is a consolidated view of all events, comments, and notes captured for the given customer and all their rentals. You can use the filter to view only certain types of notes or events.

    e) Tasks - This tab allows users to create, assign, track, and manage tasks within the customer page. Tasks help streamline workflows and ensure accountability by allowing users to organize their work efficiently. More information about tasks can be found HERE.

  3. Rental Management

Moving down from the view tabs, you'll find the "Rental Management" toolbar.

This used to be the top view on the old "Rental Page". It retains it's functionality as before, but now you also have the quick view of the statuses of AutoPay, Active military status and coverage.
Three important sections to note here:

    a) Rental Actions - this used to be the "three dots menu" where you'd find the most common rental actions to perform. Upon clicking the button, you'll see the familiar tasks but also the new "Manage Rental" button that consolidates less frequent rental configurations that used to always be displayed regardless of their less frequent use.

    b) Ledger - This opens up a new view with the full ledger log for the rental. Previously, this used to show up as soon as you'd opened the page, however, to keep a cleaner view, we've relocated it behind a dedicated button.

    c) Important notices and call-to-action banners - we now display all important information, directly in the rental view, not just overlock or Lien, but scheduled rent increases as well. Going forward, if a lease is eligible for specific action, such as balance refund it will also be displayed.

    d) Next monthly rate - we are now displaying the Next monthly rate directly in the rental toolbar. You don't need to download their invoice each time it's out in order to see how much they'll owe for next month.

  4. Lease sub-sections

The left column that used to contain the Documents, Gate access, Rental details, and Alternate contacts is now added as collapsable menus that you can expand only when you need to view the information as opposed to scrolling down the page to find the section always expanded. This should provide a clearer and compact view with easier navigation.
