Setup and Manage Autopay

Understanding autopay functionality in depth

To add, remove, or change a tenant’s AutoPay settings: 

  1. Navigate to the tenant's lease account
  2. Scroll to the bottom of their account to the AutoPay section
If a tenant already has AutoPay enabled on their account, you will see:

If a tenant does not yet have AutoPay enabled on their account, you will see:

  3. Select Manage to add or remove AutoPay

  4. To turn off AutoPay, select Turn off AutoPay

  5. To change which card to use AutoPay with, select an existing payment method from the tenant’s page

  • Use a different card will allow you to add a new credit card, debit card, or ACH payment method to use when running AutoPay

Example where AutoPay is enabled with one payment method on file:


To enable AutoPay when there is an existing payment method on the tenant’s page, select an existing payment method or select Use a different card to add a new payment method. Select Save to enable Autopay with this payment method. 

To enable AutoPay when there is no existing payment method on the tenant’s page yet, select Set up AutoPay. Add a credit, debit, or ACH payment method and hit Save

Tips: 

  • Removing AutoPay from a lease account will not remove it from the tenant’s page. If you want to remove the payment method completely, remove it from the tenant’s page 
  • A tenant can have multiple payment methods on their tenant page, but only one payment method can be enabled at a time for AutoPay on a lease account
  • If a tenant has multiple lease accounts, changing AutoPay on one account does not automatically change it on their other lease accounts. You must manually adjust the AutoPay settings on each lease account
