3. Then, you will access the standard document creation flow. Here, you can create the addendum and click Save. Please ensure that the checkbox to use the document as an addendum remains clicked.

4. Now, you have successfully created the addendum document. You can see the new addendum you’ve created in the Document templates section with an Addendum visual tag next to the document title.

Below, in process #2,  you will learn how to configure when the addendum should be attached to another document.

Process #2: Attaching an addendum with another document (i.e. Lease)

1. Navigate back to the Document templates section of Cubby and select the document that you’d like the addendum to be attached to. In most cases, this would be the Lease.

2. Select Add addendum and choose the document that you'd like to use as the addendum to the host document.

3. Click the Use addendum if tenant is dropdown and configure the situation in which the addendum will be attached to the lease. Once the rule is configured, click Save. Moving forward, the addendum you've configured will be attached to the lease when the tenant is either a military member or is storing a vehicle.
