Moving a Tenant Out

To move a tenant out of a unit, first navigate to the tenant’s lease account.

Once in the tenant’s lease account:

  1. On the right side of the page, select the three dots to the right of Pay balance
  2. Select Move out

Next, you'll be asked a series of questions regarding move out details.
  1. In step 1, choose if / how you are refunding rent and insurance changes
  2. In step 2, choose whether to refund a pre-paid balance (if applicable) and security deposit (if applicable)
  3. In step 3, choose whether to add any move-out fees. You can add as many fees as necessary.
  4. Finally, review all of your choices. Select Move out once you are done.
  5. Once the tenant is moved out of the unit:
    1. If there is a resulting negative balance (you owe the tenant money), select Withdraw balance to complete the move-out process.
    2. If there is a resulting positive balance (the tenant still owes you money), select Pay balance to collect payment from the tenant.
    3. If there is a zero balance, there are no additional actions for you to take.
