Most issues with Cubby can be resolved in under a minute with one of the steps below. Work through them in order before contacting support — they fix the majority of loading, display, and performance problems.
1. Hard refresh the page
A hard refresh clears the browser's cached version of the page and loads it fresh from the server.
Mac:
Cmd + Shift + RWindows / Linux:
Ctrl + Shift + R
This resolves blank screens, missing buttons, and pages that look wrong after a recent update.
2. Clear browser cache and cookies
If a hard refresh doesn't help, fully clearing your browser cache usually does.
In Chrome:
Press
Ctrl + Shift + Delete(Windows) orCmd + Shift + Delete(Mac).Set the time range to All time.
Check Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data.
Click Clear data, then reload Cubby and log back in.
3. Disable browser extensions
Ad blockers, privacy extensions, and password managers can interfere with how Cubby loads. Test in a private/incognito window — most extensions are disabled there by default. If Cubby works in incognito, disable extensions one at a time to find the culprit.
4. Switch to Google Chrome
Cubby is tested and optimized for Google Chrome. Issues that appear in Safari, Firefox, or Edge sometimes don't occur in Chrome. If you're not already on Chrome, try it before escalating further. See Keep your browser up to date to ensure Chrome is current.
5. Log out and log back in
Session tokens occasionally expire or become corrupted. Logging out and back in forces a clean session and resolves unexpected permission or display errors.
6. Check your internet connection
Cubby is cloud-based — a slow or unstable connection causes slow page loads, failed saves, and intermittent errors. Test your speed at fast.com. If on Wi-Fi, move closer to the router or switch to a wired Ethernet connection.
